These are pictures of the back of this property.

As you can see in the before shot, this house had been built and given the usual neutral creamy colour. After talking to the client with some of my ideas, using this decorative method it took the harshness of the building. Also to tie in to the surrounding environment and to complement the cedar timber wood work, and the nice sharp lines of the black from the gutters and fascias.

Finish shot of Back

An old door that was about to be thrown away, after preparing and finishing with Satin Enamel, I then decorated it in an oil-based glaze in two colours.

All these plaster cornices, ceiling roses or arches have all been decorated in an oil-based glaze.

Using a variety of products to decorate this floor, wall and fountain. I usually come up with my own and new ideas by experimenting with products.

Broken colour: Before and after shot of restoration to this hallway at a house over a century old in Croydon. Elegant broken sand stone colour set off with Gold Leaf.

Broken colour: Exterior aging Decorative finish. Brick inlays, window sills. Look closely and even the sandstone blocks are painted.

Trowel finishes:
Tuscany finished with a three colour wash.

This is another of the Trowel finishes which is done at a 5 star hotel, pleasing to the eye a soft blend of colour with a very light texture finished with a wax.

Wood grained: This door and frame have been wood grained, it is far more cost efficient to wood grain previously painted timber than to strip it back.

This is original bare plaster columns prepared and painted in oil-based paint, then marbled in oil-glazes.

Marbling:
This is pre-cast cement columns at first extensively prepared to remove form work first, then finished in Satin Enamel, followed by marbling using oil-glazes.

Here is an example of plaster columns with a subtle marble applied. The colours were taken from a real marble fireplace within the same room.

Gilding: This was definitely an interesting job. A church within Adelaide required my services to rejuvenate and bring back to life this large copper dome sitting on top of its white base.

This is a progress shot of the church dome, with all the scaffolding required to rejuvenate the church.

After doing some homework on the job to find out compatibilities of the existing paint to the product we were using two-pack, the Dome was then prepared first. This Dome came to life after using a very vivid crisp clean Blue colour to the Dome. After painting applications were finished, we still had the job to apply the gold to the stars, cross and the top coming down into the dome with a perforated edge finish.

This is some photos of the close up photos of the church all completed:

Special Effects: This is just some of the many wonderful finishes achieved by using your not every day products. These finishes work and react with light; different light sources create different looks to the same finish. Some angles you see the colour screaming out at you and on the other angles it's like looking through to your base colour.

Here are two photos of the same finish in the same room but on different walls:
